Eula Biss is the author of
The Balloonists and
Notes from No Man's
Land. Her work has been recognized by a Pushcart Prize, a National
Book Critics Circle Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Howard
Foundation Fellowship, and a NEA Literature Fellowship. Her essays
have recently appeared in
The Best American Nonrequired Reading and
The Best Creative Nonfiction, as well as in
The Believer,
Gulf Coast,
the
Iowa Review, and
Harper's. She and her husband John Bresland are
the Chicago-based band Stet Everything.
John Bresland is coauthor (with Marilyn Freeman) of the forthcoming
book,
Crafting the Video Essay (University of Chicago Press, 2013).
His audio essays have aired on public radio's Weekend America, and his
video essays can be seen at
